Atomic Moo Cut-Out Masks

The Atomic Moo cut-out masks were an idea for some free promotional print pieces to offer on the site. Mostly I thought they would be a good reason to illustrate and play with type, and come up with some original print pieces that my portfolio desperately needs right now. I hope to as many of these as I can, and hopefully develop my skills as I do so.

The H.P. Lovecraft Cut-Out Mask

Original 11″ x 17″ mask.

I thought this would be a good start for the masks. I chose to do Lovecraft because at the time I was reading his story “At the Mountains of Madness.” I created two versions of the mask, an 11″ x 17″ and a 8.5″ x 11″ so visitors to the site would be able to print it from most printers.

The Edgar Allan Poe Cut-Out Mask

This was a follow up project to the H.P. Lovecraft mask; this was just meant to be a free download for visitors to AtomicMoo.com. I hope to get more time for creating these masks, as well as other projects I have in mind for Atomic Moo, because these are the kind of projects I really enjoy working on. Below is the smaller 8″x11″ mask.
